Special Pool Programs
Senior Citizens Swim and Adaptive Aquatics
Free swimming time is offered to senior citizens and physically impaired individuals Monday through Friday, beginning the first day after school closes until school begins, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at War Memorial Pool. Admittance is extended to one chaperone, if needed, for physically impaired individuals.
Marlins Swim Team
Marlins Swim Team The Martinsburg Marlins Swim Team is open to boys and girls 18 years old and under as of June 1, 2008. This is a competitive program with emphasis on stroke development and team relays. Participants must be able to swim laps independently and commit to practice every morning. This is an excellent summer experience for those interested in high school swimming! The Marlins
participate in Division II of the Interstate Swim League. On-site registration will be held at Lambert Pool on Saturday, May 10, at 10:00 am and during the fi rst week of practice, beginning May 27th. Registration will be limited to the fi rst 125 swimmers.
