Upcoming 2008 Events at the Henry Arena:
April 19th - NBHA (National Barrel Horse Association) Speed Event at 11am. Rain date is April 20th.
May 3rd - Old-Fashioned Hoe-Down fundraiser dance with local musicians, a square dance caller, and cake walks. The event will start at 7pm. Cost is $5 per person.
June 7th - Youth Rodeo Schooling Day at noon. Contact Nathan Catlett (264-3631) for more information.
June 21st- Open Horse Show sponsored by the Mane Roundup 4-H Club. Show begins at 9am.
September 6th - Open Show Speed Event beginning at 5pm.
September 20th - Open Show Speed Event beginning at 5pm.
October 4th - Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser sponsored by the Mane Roundup 4-H Club. Horse events all day long.
***A quilt raffle is being held to benefit the Henry Arena. Tickets may be purchased from any Arena Member. Cost is $2 each or 3 for $5. The drawing will be held on October 4th.

The Henry Arena is located at Poor House Farm Park.
From Interstate 81, take Exit 13 (King Street), turn west off of the Interstate onto Tuscarora Pike. Continue for approximatley 3.5 miles and turn left onto Poor House Road. The Poor House Farm Park will be on the left. |
